Sign the Petition to Remove this Zealot from the Judiciary

Though Clarence Thomas is not the only Supreme Court Justice guilty of lying, corruption, and conflicts of interests, Thomas forms a starting point to impeach the corrupt zealots running the Supreme Court. The current circulating petition reached over a million signatures and continues growing due to the outrage and fear of this Catholic justice who has urged the revisit of rulings concerning gay marriage, LGBTQ, and other rights previously granted by the court.

The petition to impeach Supreme Court Justice Justice Thomas should come as no surprise since he “voted against a Supreme Court decision to compel the release of Donald Trump’s records regarding the January 6 insurrection and attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.” This vote glares with corruption since the Justice appears to be protecting his wife, Ginni Thomas, from the January 6 Insurrection investigation, which is just one of her and his numerous legal and ethics violations reported by Salon,

…the justice’s wife “was an undisclosed paid consultant at the conservative pressure group the Center for Security Policy, when its founder, Frank Gaffney, submitted an amicus brief to the court supporting Trump’s Muslim travel ban.”

Mayer noted that Thomas also had to amend years of financial filings after the watchdog group Common Cause discovered that the right-wing Heritage Foundation paid Ginni Thomas nearly $700,000 between 2003 and 2007.

These stains on the Judiciary are just the most recent in a history of rulings that have sought to undermine American rights in favor of his Catholic-infused originalism.

In Romer v. Evans, Thomas dissented the Court ruling that found laws enacted to prevent anti-discriminatory legislation to protect homosexuals were unconstitutional.

In Lawrence v. Texas, Thomas argued that a Texas statute prohibiting sodomy was “uncommonly silly” but dissented in the Court’s decision to strike down the law claiming the Constitution does not contain a right to privacy — the same originalism argument used to overturn Roe v. Wade.

In Bostock v. Clayton County, Georgia, Thomas dissented the decision that Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 protects employees from sexual orientation or gender identity discrimination.

Consistently, Thomas dissents in cases that violate Catholic values in a claim of originalism that argues no such rights exist within the Constitution, yet conveniently ignores rulings based on the same protections inherent in the Constitution, such as the legalization of interracial marriage based on Loving v. Virginia. In complete hypocrisy and mockery of stare decisis, Thomas continuously makes rulings with no basis other than his Catholic values when they can be fitted to law, exemplified in his desire to revisit the key rulings of:

Griswold vs. Connecticut, the 1965 ruling in which the Supreme Court said married couples have the right to obtain contraceptives; Lawrence v. Texas, which in 2003 established the right to engage in private sexual acts; and the 2015 ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges, which said there is a right to same-sex marriage.

Ultimately, Thomas desires to remake law based on his perverse Catholic-originalism that allows states to return to the days of outlawing sexual behavior, legalized discrimination with employment, legalized discrimination in company policies serving consumers, state governance of marriages, and forcing people to abide by a Christian worldview, regardless of religious freedom.

The overturning of Roe v. Wade has turned the Supreme Court into a theocracy-driven political body no longer capable of fair and impartial judgment for the American people. Signing the petition to impeach Justice Clarence Thomas is the first step in taking back control of the courts by demanding Justices be above reproach — which they should be!
